A company with a horrible business practice! Check out their BBB reviews, that will tell you what kind of company they are. The sales person sold my Agency and agreed to a 6 month contract because I refused to commit to a year long contact. (on the recording) I cancelled because there is literally no purpose to this software. I got the same results by ordering a $60 one time local citation package form a vendor of mine. I dug up my "account managers" email, someone who never called me or tried to make this work for us, and asked to cancel and was told and I quote "we don't approve 6 month contacts, the agreement you signed was for a year" and you have to meet your obligation. ok. so If she would of said, let me help you make this work for your Agency, I may have started to think differently but she skipped the satisfy the customer approach. I feel that validates that the software is actually worthless! I proceeded to let them know that the sales person sold me and I only agreed to a 6 month term, and asked her to review the recording. She again proceeded to tell me that Im committed for a annual contract and there is nothing I can do about it. Horrible company, and what a mistake it was even giving them 20 minutes of my time to listen to the sales pitch.

Just moved locations and Yext made it simple! I worked with Daniel Wasky and he helped update every listing, seemlessly! I was originally not a believer in Yext, and thought I could do it all myself, and Daniel and his team made me a believer!

The canned responses to Yext's bad reviews are hilarious. They keep repeating the same bunkum about Yext being a "protective layer" for your listings and that if you stop paying them, they will no longer be able to "protect" them. Exactly who this is supposed to fool, I have no idea. Fact: if a directory's listings are editable by any unverified person, then the directory is not a credible source of information and the info in it will not affect your Google search ranking. Google could not care less about citations in directories that anyone can edit. If, however, the directory has some kind of watertight verification process to ensure that ONLY the business owner can edit the information, then Google will trust this info and hence it's worth correcting - but you DON'T need to pay Yext to do it. There are only a handful of directories that have real credibility with Google, and none of them require a Yext subscription to edit. You just need to be confirmed as the business owner. The directories that are only editable by Yext are not worth bothering with. It's as simple as that! Save the $500 and start an AdWords campaign.

Buyer beware! Read the contract thoroughly. If you are not satisfied with the service they will force you into keeping the auto draft going. Even when you cancel they continue to find ways to draft your account without your permission. I've cancelled service from June and they have continued to draft my account without authorization for the past 3 months. I'm highly disappointed in this company's ethics, values and their employees. They have many competitors that provide similar or better services without the lack of ethics. Keep shopping if I were you.

When you need to get a hold of the person that signed you to their "partnership" they will never call you back. But refuse a few charges to your credit card and watch how quickly and eager they are to get in touch with you. Agencies - DO NOT "PARTNER" with these guys. Use an alternative.... Google "Yext Alternatives" and pick anyone of them. All of them are better and cheaper.

Be careful. this company works with shady company like get felix to damage your ranking on the web. I called to cancel the harmful listings many times. they keep hanging up the phone and no one never answer to voice mails. stay away. use dexyp or thehoth instead.

I am a small business owner. I started my business in 1997. We moved after five years to a nearby town. I have repeatedly tried to get yext to update my listing on thier site as well as a few sites they are in cahoots with to no avail. They penalize small businesses that have been around a long time by making them purchase a monthly plan in order to correct their citation . This hurts owners who have been around in search results at the same time helping the competition that is just starting out. Shame on you Yext!

Like someone else said as soon as the person signs you up they disappear. Trying to contact anyone from there is impossible. Yext promises that they will correct all your listing meanwhile they listed my info wrong. Furthermore the one and most important site (Google) they can't list my info. It's only been a month or so but what I've seen so far yext doesn't care about you or your business as soon as the payment goes through. I'm hoping that I can eventually change this review to 4 stars but time will tell

Just signed up two businesses and have double checked the listings on white pages, yellow pages and bing and there was absolutely no listing at all, even though yext “claimed” that it was live. I’ve personally had to do each listing on those three pages myself and now I’m spending the week checking all of the 50+ other sites. Not impressed at all. Complete waste of money and valuable time, unfortunately. Hopefully I can reach someone today to get it resolved and I’ll update the review, if anything changes.
